Support Jesus House

LET'S FIGHT ADDICTION & HOMELESSNESS TOGETHER.

DONATE NOW

Every donation makes a difference. Your gift helps low income or homeless men, women, and families in the community and our addiction recovery residents. Gifts go toward everyday necessities like food, water, and shelter. In-kind donations help set our recovery residents up with their own homes and for their life after Jesus House. Above all else, your contributions foster, teach, and care for those in our community who need it most.

Stocks & Securities

Donors can use their own broker/agent to transfer stock. If the stock has been held long-term (over one year), the donor does not have to pay capital gains tax on the stock and is allowed a tax deduction for the full value of the stock. Donors may also choose to donate stock in order to claim a loss, which may be beneficial for tax circumstances. In either case, the stock must first be transferred to Jesus House before being liquidated. For more information, please consult your financial advisor.

Fundraising 5%

Programs 61%

Primarily, our assistance goes to helping those in our community who struggle with addiction recovery. Seventy-three percent of Jesus House residents maintain a minimum of one year of sobriety after completing our Life Transformation Program. In 2019, 36 residents received their HS diploma through our GED program. We also operate a food pantry and serve meals once a day to the hungry in our community.

Donations to Jesus House are spent in three categories: 61% percent goes directly to our programs, 34% goes to administration, and the remaining 5% goes toward fundraising. Below we have included our 990 Tax document, which provides a further breakdown of our nonprofit organization’s financial information.
