LET'S FIGHT ADDICTION & HOMELESSNESS TOGETHER.
Every donation makes a difference. Your gift helps low income or homeless men, women, and families in the community and our addiction recovery clients. Gifts go toward everyday necessities like food, water, and shelter. In-kind donations help set our recovery clients up with their own homes and for their life after Jesus House. Above all else, your contributions foster, teach, and care for those in our community who need it most.

This option doesn't require you to directly send money to Jesus House! Instead, when you buy items on Amazon they will contribute 0.05%of your purchase to Jesus House. So, you shop and Amazon gives! To start visit smile.amazon.com. Sign in and choose Jesus House in Oklahoma City as your charitable organization to receive donations. Stocks & Securities
Donors can use their own broker/agent to transfer stock. If the stock has been held long-term (over one year), the donor does not have to pay capital gains tax on the stock and is allowed a tax deduction for the full value of the stock. Donors may also choose to donate stock in order to claim a loss, which may be beneficial for tax circumstances. In either case, the stock must first be transferred to Jesus House before being liquidated. For more information, please consult your financial advisor, and call our executive director Michael Bateman below.
The 2010 Relief Act permits individuals age 70.5 or older to contribute up to $100,000 from a qualifying retirement account directly to a qualifying charity without recognizing the assets transferred to the charity as income. Please contact your financial advisor for additional information concerning your retirement accounts, and reach out to our executive director Michael Bateman below.

Food & Clothes
We always welcome used clothing in good condition and food donations! Food is often used in our kitchen to feed the hungry or in our distribution of food baskets to low-income families. If you have a large donation of perishable food or if it would require a pickup, please call us beforehand!
Thanks to the in-kind donations we receive, we are able to set up our recovery clients for success after graduating. Individuals and their families are given a “move out package,” containing essential items to establish their homes such as pots and pans, dishes, and more. If you have gently used household items give us a call before dropping off.
Donate your time and skills at Jesus House! We would love to have you. We always welcome those who have it in their heart to volunteer. One of the most important aspects of Jesus House and what we aim to do is teach and foster those who need it most. Above all else, patience, kindness, and honesty are essential for being a volunteer. HOW DONATIONS ARE USED.
Primarily, our assistance goes to helping those in our community who struggle with addiction recovery. Seventy-three percent of Jesus House clients maintain a minimum of one year of sobriety after completing our Life Transformation Program. In 2019, three clients received their HS diploma through our GED program. We also operate a food and clothing pantry that serves many underprivileged members of our community. We are also able to serve meals three times a day to the hungry in our community.
Donations to Jesus House are spent in three categories: 61% percent goes directly to our programs, 34% goes to administration, and the remaining 5% goes toward fundraising. Below we have included our 990 Tax document, which provides a further breakdown of our nonprofit organization’s financial information.
